BiblioFox Research Service has been undertaking family history research in England, Wales and Scotland since 2000, and has helped hundreds of people find out about their ancestors. At BiblioFox, we believe family history research is more than simply about tracing names and dates. We specialise in providing carefully-researched narrative histories of families, bringing their stories to life using all the archival records available.
Although there is a lot of genealogical data online today, not all of it is reliable, and a vast number of genealogical and historical records - particularly for the twentieth century - are not available online at all. Our professional researchers are experienced at searching all the major archival resources for family history in England, Wales and Scotland, and we always supply copies of original documents to back up our research findings.
Our family tree research package makes an ideal gift, and includes
- a detailed narrative history containing information on the family members' lives, occupations and the places in which they lived
- a professionally-printed family tree chart
- copies of the genealogical records obtained during the course of research, such as certificates of birth, marriage and death, population census returns, parish records and wills
- a GEDCOM file containing all the vital data (dates and places of birth, marriage and death) on the family. GEDCOM is the standard file format for storing genealogical data.

Our rates
We charge by the hour, at a rate of £28 per hour for genealogy research for private individuals (institutions and companies please contact us for details of our corporate rates).
