Edward Elgar: Evening Scene (SATB)

Elgar composed 'Evening Scene' in 1905, drawing on elegaic verses by the Victorian poet Coventry Patmore. Elgar's friend Jaeger wrote that 'it fills the soul with sweet melancholy'.
